Eastside is known for great music, dedicated youth programs, innovative “extras” and a heart to transform our local community and the world. We’re a mix of ages and ethnicities at different places on our spiritual journeys, a community of faith committed to pursue God together, connect in meaningful ways, and unleash compassion both locally and globally.

Eastside Christian Church began in a living room in Fullerton in 1962, with a group of passionate believers who wanted to reach their Orange County neighbors with Christ’s love. In 1963 the growing church purchased the property at the corner of Yorba Linda Blvd and State College, and constructed our current campus.

Pastor Gene Appel came to Eastside in 2008, and since then we’ve nearly doubled in size — from 1,900 to 3,500 people. This rapid growth is why we’re actively planning relocation to a site at the corner of Miraloma Avenue and Miller Street in Anaheim, five miles southeast. The move to our new location in 2012 will be a milestone in Eastside’s history, coinciding with our 50th anniversary celebration. Learn more about the relocation!
