Welcome to Eastside! We want to help you get to know our community of faith a little better. Let's take a brief campus tour of Eastside, "chronologically" if you will. We'll start on Sunday morning and wrap it up with Saturday night. We'll take a typical week in the Fall or Spring. Hopefully you'll get a feel of some of our activities that happen here on a weekly basis.
Sunday:
It's 7:00 am and the prayer meeting is just coming to a close with a praise song to God. Fresh donuts are arriving in the Pavilion as our morning set up crew wipes off the tables and finishes brewing the coffee. People come and have a donut and a cup of coffee and visit a little before the service. At 8:00 am upstairs our first worship service begins. The campus is bustling at 9:20 am as parents are walking their kids toward their age-appropriate rooms, en route to the traditional Celebration Service and various friendship classes for adults. groups. Teens grab a donut (or two :)) on their way to The Core youth worship service at 9:30 am. About 10:50 am, the main lobby area is full as 9:30 worshipers make their way to 11:00 Adult Bible Fellowships, trading places so to speak with the Fellowship classes on their way out before the next group of people come in. The music selection gets hotter for the New Song Worship Service at 11:00 am, while young adults head to the Fellowship Hall for The Mix, a high-energy, college-age Worship Service. Get ready to stand and clap in praise of our holy, awesome God! About 12:15 pm, after singing, sharing the Lord's Supper, and hearing the message from Gene Appel, worshipers exit and visit with friends in the Pavilion area before making lunch plans.
At 5:45 pm, rhythmic Latino worship songs are being rehearsed in preparation for the Iglesia Cristiana Spanish-speaking worship service in the worship center at 6:00 pm. Occasionally, Children's Choirs will be rehearsing for an upcoming musical at Christmas or near Mother's Day.

Just before 8:00 am The parking lot is full and humming at 8:00 am as busy parents of preschoolers through 6th graders drop off their precious cargo for a day of learning at Eastside Christian Elementary and Preschools. Eastside pastors and staff arrive and make their way to their offices, stopping for coffee and banter in the office kitchen. At 8:30 am the office opens and the phones start ringing, anticipating a full day of ministry and planning for the weeks to come. At 6:30 pm, the Ladies crank up the music volume and start their WINGS exercise program, followed at 7:30 with the SOAR “Captivating” Bible study. In the evening, Jr. High kids gather in various homes in the community for their weekly "Small Groups."

At 9:30 am, the Ladies' mid_week Bible study gathers for their weekly study together. By late afternoon,, Fellowship Hall is resounding with loud rehearsal music, preparing for their high school "Ground Zero" for teens in N. Orange County. At 7 pm, the Hall is full, the worship begins, and everyone is on their feet!

Fellowship Hall again reverberates at 5:30 pm, preparing the Celebrate Recovery weekly meeting, to help people cope with their hurts, habits and hang-ups.
Saturday:
Eastside is getting “Outside the Gates” with service projects on Saturday mornings to help needy people in our community. Occasionally you'll find the parking lot filled with people in formal dresses and tuxedos, for a wedding in our Main Auditorium. By 5:00 pm, the Fellowship Hall is filling with rockin’ volume, rehearsing for the 6:00 pm Sat. night service. You’ll smell the coffee brewing and see flat screen t.v.’s in the Lounge area alive with music videos. At 6:00 pm the Hall is filled with worshipers, connecting with God and restoring their lives.
