On-Site With In-Sight
Prayer-walking is not a new thing! It has been done for several decades within hundreds, if not thousands of congregations and in cities all across the globe. God has answered those prayers in awesome, powerful ways bringing salvation, revival, and a deeper relationship with others and with Himself.
Here at Eastside groups of three people take a small area of the campus and spend several minutes lifting up both praises and specific needs which our leadership has provided for their own area of ministry. Then we come together in the main worship center to lift up that weekend’s worship services to the Lord.
For example, we walk around inside the lower level of the main building, stopping at the doors of each class to pray for the teacher(s), students, and lessons which will be taught that Sunday.
Another example: we pray for those who pour coffee at The Pavilion, assist with parking and the flow of traffic, and those who greet our guests, helping them find classrooms and to feel comfortable as they visit us.
Most importantly, we ask God to visit our city and to pour out His Spirit upon each one that we all may live in peace and holiness together.
