Bring awareness to your school, workplace or community by hosting education or awareness gatherings.

Save the hotline number into your phone and report any suspicious activity or red flags you see.

Provide a Rescue Tote for a survivor with essential items like sweats, toiletries, and more.

Become a host home or a foster parent for children who have been victimized by this crime.

 

 

 


O R E E   F R E E M A N is an advocate for the youth in our community who are victims of sex trafficking. She was a victim of trafficking for four years starting at just 11 years old, and is now a graduate of Fullerton High School, has two jobs,and her own apartment. Among other things, she has been appointed to the California State CommerciallySexually Exploited Children Advisory Committee and advises legislators and policy makers on how to better serve children being sold throughout the state.

P R I S C I L L A   S A N T O S is a Program Coordinator for The Salvation Army’s Anti- Trafficking Services Program and an Adjunct Professor at Vanguard University. She is a part of Congressman Ed Royce’s Human Trafficking Congressional Advisory Committee and helps lead the Orange County Human Trafficking Task Force. She focuses on providing holistic, culturally informed, comprehensive social services to human trafficking survivors, as well as providing training and mobilizing the faith-based communities on how they can fight human trafficking.

R U T H I   H A N C H E T T of Live2Free has worked in the field of children’s and women’s rights for the past 12 years. She currently serves on the board of Vanguard University’s Global Center for Women and Justice and often lectures and speaks on issues related to human trafficking and child rights in her local community. She worked for World Vision International and represented them on the United Nations NGO Advisory Council on Violence Against Children.

B R A D   S C H O E N L E N B E N  is an Orange County Deputy District Attorney, selected for the Human Exploitation and Trafficking Unit (H.E.A.T.) whose primary goals are to prosecute human trafficking cases in Orange County, provide law enforcement training, educate the public on the realities of human trafficking and provide resources and solutions to those who are victims. Brad has been able to prosecute many defendants of the crimes of Human Trafficking, Pimping, and Pandering.

K I M   S C H N E I D E R is a Senior Social Worker (AWOL & CSEC) and Licensed Marriage and Family Counselor and has been with the County of Orange Social Service Agency for nearly 22 years. Kim has worked with the Commercially Sexually Exploited Children (CSEC) population for the past 5 years and co-facilitates CSEC prevention classes among other things. Additionally, she works closely with the OC Human Trafficking Task Force and the presiding judge.

A N D R E W   G O N Z A L E Z is a Senior Lead Officer in the LAPD and formerly served on the Operations South Bureau Human Trafficking Task Force. Andrew has served on the front lines of human trafficking—investigating gangs, training field officers, making human trafficking rescues and was even involved in a shooting with a local gang member. Andrew has received the Officer of the Year Award and the Harbor Area Gang Officer of the Year Award for his work against trafficking.

J O H N   B A J O R E K is an Assistant Principal in Orange County. He has investigated hundreds of online incidents at his school and works closely with Orange County Sheriff’s Department to prevent juvenile delinquency and human trafficking in his district. John is also a certified cyber safety instructor and teaches internet safety seminars for parents throughout Southern California.
