The Courtyard Homeless Shelter

What: After a brief training and screening, sign up to work a 3-4 hour shift any day of the week available. Volunteer your time on a weekly basis at this newly opened homeless shelter. Shifts are in the morning, afternoon or evening and days of the week vary depending on availability. 

Deliver Dinner to Families at CHOC
Cause: Families in Crisis

When: Any night between 5:30pm & 6pm

What: Pick up and deliver a meal from a local restaurant to CHOC hospital to support families who have children who are hospital-bound. Meals are provided at no cost to you--transportation is the main need.

Help Alleviate Poverty at Giving Children Hope
What: Donate food for those experiencing hunger in our community. Giving Children Hope is a local non-profit that helps alleviate poverty in our community. After signing up a specific list of needed items will be sent to you. 

 

Help Homeless Shelters

Donate meal kits, welcome or exit kits for individuals experiencing homelessness that are living at Bridges at Kraemer Place in Anaheim or The Courtyard Shelter in Santa Ana. Kits serve as a meal or are given upon their arrival to the shelter or as they exit the shelter to transition to more permanent housing

 

Bus Passes to the Needy

Purchase bus passes to help transport those in need to jobs, interviews, etc. Bus passes will be distributed by case managers working with individuals experienceing homelessness or poverty.
