Come with us this summer as Eastside turns all of our Global Compassion efforts towards Mexico.

Our Ministry to Mexico focuses on two partnerships; the first, with Tijuana Christian Mission in Rosarito serving the children living in the orphanage built by Eastsiders just like you. The second, our work with Compassion International in Temoaya where Eastside is helping establish a young sister church by sponsoring over 500 children. Both experiences will be life changing!

Come with us to Rosarito and have a Global Compassion experience that is only a few hours away! Over the years Eastside has been in partnership with Tijuana Christian Mission who cares for orphaned and abandoned children from the streets of Mexico.  17 years ago Eastside purchased seven acres along the coast of Rosarito and built a sister facility named The City Of Refuge Children’s Home, that now cares for half of the children in this ministry.  This exciting work gives everyone an opportunity to serve Beyond Borders--from building teams to medical and dental, sports, fine arts, education, nutrition, and working with children—there is something for everyone. This year we are looking to expand our work to the community surrounding the orphanage. We’ll be re-roofing and expanding three local churches that are serving the people of the valley. Help families that have no home receive their first new home built by the caring hands of Eastsiders. We’ll also be providing exciting activities for the children of TCM that will help them better understand the God that loves them.

There is so much to do and we desire for many Eastsiders to have the opportunity to serve on a life-changing trip, so we are offering five different dates this summer—we are encouraging everyone to go to Rosarito! Eastside prides itself in a creating a family-friendly, safe experience in Rosarito that is virtually doable for anyone. Our trips are for all ages, (recommended 5 years old and up) with all kinds of skill sets. In fact it is those families that bring their children and teens and serve together that we so often see later see serving abroad as missionaries or in our community…Mexico is a perfect first step!

June 2 - 9

Just outside of Mexico City is our young sister church that is reaching over 500 children and their families. Our partnership with Compassion International brings much needed nutrition, healthcare and most importantly Christian education to all of the sponsored children. Our team of 40 or so has already been chosen and will serve on health and wellness teams, help complete the new church facility, and host exciting educational activities--all with the goal of showing God’s loving care. Best of all, they will get to spend the day with their sponsor child and a translator, getting to know him or her and making a relationship that will literally last forever!

Registration is now closed.
