“On that day a great persecution broke out against the church in Jerusalem, and all except the apostles were scattered throughout Judea and Samaria.”
- Acts 8:1 NIV
In Acts 7 and 8 we read about the persecution that those in the early church endured. Those of us who live in places where we are able to worship freely often forget that we have persecuted brothers and sisters throughout the world who are being persecuted today. From Pastor Andrew Brunson, who is imprisoned in Turkey, to the numerous Egyptian Christians who have been killed for their faith, and so many more around the globe.
