“Then Agrippa said to Paul, ‘Do you think that in such a short time you can persuade me to be a Christian?’”
Paul replied, ‘Short time or long—I pray to God that not only you but all who are listening to me today may become what I am, except for these chains.’”
- Acts 26:28--29 NIV
We often think that we are speaking to deaf ears when we make attempts to share Jesus with others. They laugh, they scoff, they ignore, and we lose heart that they might never know the freedom we have found. But Paul knew that even though he might not see the day where Agrippa and others would accept Christ, on that day he had planted a seed. A seed that when combined with the power of the Holy Spirit, would grow and flourish.
