“All the believers were united in heart and mind. And they felt that what they owned was not their own, so they shared everything they had. The apostles testified powerfully to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and God’s great blessing was upon them all. There were no needy people among them, because those who owned land or houses would sell them and bring the money to the apostles to give to those in need.”
- Acts 4:32-35 NLT
Have you ever seen a herd of cattle on TV or in a movie, running together, forming a stampede? It’s as if they are all operating with one mind and one purpose as they move together in the same speed, going in the same direction. This is what the early church looked like as they pursued the mission together of bringing Jesus to the world. With one heart and one soul, they existed in marvelous unity.
What would it look like today if Christians operated like that? Would we have the force of a stampede, bringing Jesus to both the unreached and the lost?
